Plastic cladding question V70-XC70 2001

We just picked up our 01 XC yesterday yeah!

And it seems that the salesperson while filling it with gas scraped the rear wheel cladding against something at the gas station. This resulted in scrapes into the plastic cladding around the passenger rear wheel well.

The dealership will be replacing this piece free of charge. Now on to my question, has anyone had or replaced the wheel cladding (arched portion) on a 01 XC? The repair manager took a look and while they never replaced one first hand yet stated that there are just plastic rivets and perhaps tape on the inside holding it on.

If anyone one has any insights into the repair procedures please let me know.
