Re: 1998 V70 T5(M) Owners: What's your MPG? V70-XC70 1998

Well, today during my trip out to Eastern LI, I decided to play with the MPG computer. 10 miles at 60mph netted 29.6 mpg. 65 = 28.4 and 70 = 26.5.

One last thing, after reaching 130mph before coming up on traffic, I showed an average of 7.4 mpg!!! The LIE ended and the brakes were HOT!

MAN, that car did NOT want to stop pulling! (And, NO, I was not talking on the cell phone at the time!!!)

Mr. Million Mile Volvo told me he hit 161 with my exact car on the Volvo test track in Europe! Certified. Must have been different gearing, because I don't think I can get that high without bouncing off the rev limiter. Probably closer to 150 ish. It would be close.
