I saw the odometer word and had to write, Mine broke about 4 weeks ago, speedo works fine, but the trip and odometer do nothing. I pulled the instrument cluster out to investigate and it seems that there is one small eletric motor that drives everything, my trip meter is not digital. I can,t visualy see why if the speedo works the odometer would'nt also. I posted a help message on this board, but didn't get alot of feedback either because it was christmas weekend or not many people have had this problem. There is a repair shop in the listings for shops on this web pages home site called a+ auto emissions and speedometer repair, I talked to them, but they sounded like they just wanted to do the work and not get specific about the cause, which I can understand. I hope one of the volvo mechanics will see these postings and give us some helpfull info.
