changing my steering wheel? S70 1998

Hi guys i own a 1998 S70 T5 that im building for car shows and i bought a momo steering wheel for it....i also bought a momo hub part# 9018 they say it will fit the 1997 850....i went to my local volvo dealer and the guy told me the steering on the 850 and the S70 is diffrent..even with it being diffrent can anyone tell me if the steering shaft(spline size)is the same so i can fit the hub on my car.....tks guys any help would be great tks from Rob
