IPD Wiper Relay Installed S70 1999

Well, I got the IPD Wiper Relay for Christmas, and since today is sunny and only slightly below freezing, I installed it this afternoon. It took the 20 minutes the instructions say it will, and I even had to figure out that the $%^& thing goes in upside-down!!

Some notes:

There was enough space for three-quarters of my hand.

I had to plug the thing in by feel.

Removing the two relays in the way is not an option -- it's necessity.

The instructions don't mention the footwell light mounted on the dash panel that you remove.

The clutch pedal was majorly in the way, as the reddened back of my hand can attest.

Putting the dash panel back in is an effort in juggling.

It'll be neat to have real intermittent wipers the next time it rains, or I'm on a sloppy road behind someone, though.
