It is filled with charcoal and is NOT servicable. As the vapors get drawn to the intake, the charcoal will hold less and less gasoline. Having liquid gasoline in the cannister does not hurt it, it just impares the normal evaporation process.

Replacing the hoses will turn off the error code.
