Lug Nut Torque Specs C70 2000

All,

Just received my latest "toy" (Proto 6016TP Torque Wrench) and can hardly wait to try it out. Question: In the owner's manual it recommends torqueing the Lug Nuts to 100 foot-pounds. Is this correct? Seems a bit on the high side to me. Other vehicles are around 70 ft/lbs.

Also, the Proto came with an interesting directions/facts sheet. It recommends torqueing all Lugs to 75% and finally to 100%. Other facts and formulas (for extensions) were included too.

Any help or guidance from you other Volvo Pros would be appreciated.
