Tony, I'll take your advice and clean the switch more thouroughly!

I wouldn't be surprised if the contacts are still dirty. The lady who owned the car before me pretty much let her 4 kids go wild in it. From what I heard, they poured everything from apple juice to chocolate milk all over the center console on a daily basis. :)
