The front tires on my 1998 V70 wear unevenly and excessively (compared to the rear tires). I am looking at replacing the control arms. Do I need to replace the track rod ends at the same time? Are there any special tools required such as a balljoint separator? I don't have one of those, will any type do or is a proprietary Volvo tool reqUired? Also I am getting a humming from my right front wheel. Is that a bearing?
