Advice after Compression Test 850

Hi All,
I'm looking for opinions/info/recommendations. I have a 96 850GLT w/ 87k, good body condition, 2nd owner so not sure of engine care before 75k. Don't think PVC is clogged, no smoke or pressure at dip stick and also did sea-foam thru vacuum, oil, gas. There is a faint smell at start up that i think is coolant but goes away when driving. Also, engine was eating 1/4 quart every 2-3 weeks recently. Car will need strut and shocks replacement soon.

After check engine flash, a code reading showed mis-fire on #1 and #2. I did a compression test; dry #1 140, #2 0, #3 145, #4 150, #5 150. wet on #2 20. Didn't do other wets b/c battery was low so not sure about fluctuation/possible ring probs.

Would probably take it to a mechanic for a full compression dry/wet test and a lead down test.

If it is a valve problem, and given my above general car description, would it be worth getting a refurbed head ($450) and have it install or try to install myself?
-or-
If it has ring problems is it worth a rebuild or rebuilt engine install?
-or-
Should I try to sell it to someone for parts or their project and cut my loses.
Tnx in advance for opinions much more informed than mine!!
