So there I was in Target the other day, cruising down the automotive isle while my wife shopped for baby clothes. And what did a see? I laser parking guide. Too cool. It sticks to the garage ceiling and is powered with batteries or the included power supply. It has a motion-activation IR senensor (so it only comes on when you moved the car and doesn't fry your kid's eyes as often). You just aim the little laser (like the cheap pointers you can buy) so that when you drive in, you watch the laser climb up your hood and onto whatever specific spot you want on the dashboard. I passed on it at the time thinking it might have ended up in my Christmas stocking, but now I think I'll have to go trade in my lump of coal for one of them.
