The reason for the 2 mufflers is the saddle fuel tank. Check at tascavolvo.com for a good OEM price. When my rusty mufflers go, I will probably replace them with 2000 "R" mufflers and have twin exhaust.

You can buy exhaust tips at most autoparts stores.
