ABS warning light on V70-XC70

I seriously doubt that the sensor(s) are a problem with your 1999 V70. You either have a cable connection problem or a solder joint failure. The ABS controllers are know to fail and resoldering the connections will fix them for life.

You may want to Google ABS repair for NZ or AUS, for someone closer to you if you cannot fix it yourself. If you remove the ABS module, pull the fuse for the ABS for the duration. The speedometer signal goes through the ABS, so removal will turn off the speedometer.
