I bought a 1995 855T from my local Volvo dealer in March of this year. In April the a/c was blowing hot air and the dealer added freon and tracer dye, in August I bought an extended warranty plan from Warrantybynet.com, In December the car was diagnosed with a leaking evaporator.
Warrantybynet has denied coverage on the evap and will not pay for it because they claim that adding freon and tracer dye in April constitutes "documentation that the evap was leaking in April" before I had bought coverage and they call this a "prior condition". There had been no mention of the evaporator in the April service.
Draw your own conclusion...Would you buy Warrantybynet coverage?
