I saw the recent posting and comments on this issue and have the following questions (car is a V70, 2004, 115K miles):
I plan to get the Aux. belt, timing belt, tensioner and idler roller replaced.
I read the water pump replacement comments. I have a failed thermostat which I will have replaced at the same time as the above work. Does replacing the thermostat influence any of the water pump inspection comments, because of location, accessability.. etc.
I also need to get the fuel filter replaced. I planned doing that myself but I do not know it's location on the 2004, or how difficult it is to get to, etc.
I also plan to renew the anti-freeze, what is considered "a like replacement" for the Volvo antifreeze?
Any thoughts on the need to replace brake fluid at this milage???
Thanks for the help,
Art
