P1072.. V70-XC70 1999

P1072 is signal too high, info about it below. I'm guessing since you switched MAF, you're looking at the wiring at that sensor being the problem. It could probably be that sensor itself. As far as I can tell, that sensor is under the drivers side headlight in the bumper, however, i'm not entirely sure..

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-1100

Condition

The engine control module (ECM) checks the signal from the outside temperature sensor.
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a short-circuit to ground or supply voltage or an open-circuit in the outside temperature sensor circuit.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute value
-If the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor (integrated in the mass air flow (MAF) sensor) is OK, its value is used. Otherwise the value is set as constant.

Possible source

Signal too high
-Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
-Open-circuit in the signal cable
-Damaged outside temperature sensor.
Signal too low
-Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
-Damaged outside temperature sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
-Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
