tail pipe moisture 850 1996

I have a 1996 850 t5.the weather here is about -3 to +5 cel these days.I have noticed that the tailpipe emits quite a bit of moisture,not just cold weather steam type,but water beads noticed when i park the car.is this norma,i do not think i am losing any water and the temp is fine.i just remember a vw jetta i had doing the same thing but it was losing water and needed a head gasket.any thoughts
