Re: How to replace the climate sensor by myself 850 1995

Before replacing, you might try cleaning it. Both of my '94 sensor fans were making noise but are now quiet after cleaning. I suspect they had hair or other small debris in them. Remove the assist handle and the cover over the fan. Clean with an alcohol-soaked "q" tip and then suck everything out with a vacuum cleaner hose. On my car, this fixed the right one, but the left one required removal for cleaning. (I also squirted WD-40 into the motor, then cleaned the residue off the fan with alcohol.) The assembly removes and disassembles pretty easily. The process took about an hour for both sides.

Note: The assist handle attach screws are covered by small plastic pieces that hinge at the bottom. Pry from the top to open them.
