I just got a 95 850 t-5r, and the keyless remote entry doesn't work although the alarm works fine. I brought it to Volvo, and they said I need to spend 600 including two hours labor to replace the receiver in the car because reprogramming didn't work. I heard about programming the transmitter, but it didn't work neither by me or by Volvo. I tried to test programming on my another 94 850 turbo (its keyless works fine), but it didn't work either. Does the programming- turn the ignition on and off five times- work on 95 or 94 Volvos? If it should work, what is the problem? If it didn't work this way, what is the possible problem? I really don't want to spend 600 on this, but really want it to work. Help me.
