CD Changer cable S40-V40 2001

When we ordered our V40 we had the car prewired for the CD changer. I've looked around under the rear moldings and can't seem to find the end of the cable.

Any ideas where it should be, exactly? I'm thinking of getting an Alpine changer (there's an adapter for the 40series) and it uses the pre wired cable.
