Yeah, I know... I was hoping though. The way the service representative was talking to me though, it sounded like this had happened enough that they were just going to fix it without experiencing it. He seemed to know what to do with the software "upgrade." I got the feeling this wasn't going to be one of those "operating within factory specs" deals.
But after the heXX I gave them about scratching my hood, I doubt I'm going to get any preferential treatment.
BTW, the car is back in my driveway, but it is dark out. I'll have a look at the workmanship in the morning to see if they got rid of the scratch.
