Did you clear the codes and see what comes back now that the IAC line is good? (And I hope you cleaned out the IAC while you were at it.) Check this Volvospeed link for further detail on the code you mentioned; is that the only code? My first guess would be that with a gaping wound like that, any other vacuum leak would have been insignifcant, but now that that hole is plugged, the other lines are being "tested." Sometimes the rubber hoses and the famous elbows can become a bit porous with age and abuse even though there is no obvious hole.

And keep looking for that hidden one, feel around the side of the intake manifold just behind the steering pump. Maybe this picture will help, you can see where it attaches to the side of the manifold.
