Another CD Player problem...(sorry) S70 1998

I've posted several messages about the SC-816 stereo in my 1998 S70... thanks to those who have responded. I went to "twiddle" the microswitch since the CD player wouldn't eject or accept a CD and the microswitch fell apart when I gently pressed it with a Q-tip! The metal plunger and spring actually came out. Is this repairable or can I override it? I would hope a car stereo shop could fix this. Thanks!
