Re: Evap removal question 850 1995

Bay 13 is right as I've done hundreds of times myself. The whole dash must be removed, then the heater box as well. Not an easy job for a DIY by any means and it takes most people about a day or so the first time but gets easier each time thereafter.

Heater cores are much easier as the whole dash doesn't need removeval for that, just a box under the dash center area.

Haynes manuals are total garbage really. I have one for another brand of older car and it was the biggest waste of $10 I've ever spent.

If you want to do it yourself and want a good manual, you can buy an OEM 850 climate control manual directly from Volvo by calling 1-800-25-volvo.
