Info On SAM Chip 850 1995

I have a 1995 850 Turbo and was wondering if the SAM chip is any good? It is only like 350 US dollars, So it is much more appealing than EA, or IPD's chips =). Please give me info. Thanks. Also I was wondering if they Mod the ECU or if they send a whole new one. Thanks again.
