Hi,
sound like you have ended in 'limb home mode' to save the transmission for additional damages. generic trs tdcs say
P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request)
P0768 Shift Solenoid "D" Electrical
For old 850s the most common reason for limb mode is the worn out pnp switch,
solenoids fail much more seldom, but coud suffer from too little of use.
do you drive c70 just occasionally?
Got my 850-94 trs to work smoother when cold by exorcicing the components with DTC test mode3 built in the old models. also started to move ac distr selector through all positions additional to aut to keep components moving.
