Look at Consumer Reports annual car issue (April). The XC90s get a pretty grim rating for reliability. I know many people don't trust the CR car ratings, but at least they do poll thousands of readers and compile the statistics. And these are typically ordinary people who use their cars to commute and use in their daily activities, so the statistics are probably a decent representation of how the cars stand up over time. I noticed that at Volvo dealers, used XC90s were sitting in the lots in greater number than any other models. Why?
