I don't think it is an 850/_70 problem. My 94' 855T starts up with less then a second of cranking unless it is cold. When it is cold, it may take a bit longer, but still less then a second.

There could very well be a problem with the starter, or the battery, or your ignition system. My recommendation, leave it until it get's worse, and make sure you are ENTIRELY up to date with scheduled maintenance. A lot of the time, recommended maintenance is all that is needed to get a car running like it should.
