Thanks for the suggestions.

I took a look at the throttle area and found (what I think was) a vacuum hose that had broken away from the main assembly. I was able to get some new vacuum hose and re-attach it.

Haven't had the problem since, but then again, it has been a bit warmer the last few days here.
