I had the same problem (codes 232 and 453) on my '96 850 wagon. Turned out to be the little rubber elbow on the engine manifold that was cracked, and causing a vacuum leak. As recommended by RF, check out Bay 13 on how to get to this rubber elbow. It seems to be a very common problem ....
