CEL, ABS, Arrow lights when Speedo goes out V70-XC70 2000

I'm here in Pennsylvania for a few days where my parents 2000 V70XC is acting up. The CEL is on ever since the speedo, odo, and trip meters started acting up. At random intervals they will go dead. This is accompanied by the ABS and up-arrow lights.

This morning I plan to pull each front wheel to look for anything gross and obvious that might be fouling the wheel sensors. When I go into town later this afternoon I'll take it to Advance Auto to read the codes, hopefully that will give me a good indicator.

Any quick diagnosis? (I don't have much time to work with it so any ideas to pinpoint the problem are appreciated.
