To replace connecting rod bearings or not? this is the question 850 1995

NO, no, no! That is the most stable part of your engine, why introduce a headache? Removing the head is probably the worst thing you ever want to do to your engine.

A better idea is to drop the oil pan and replace the oil pickup rings and clean out any sludge. IF, you have nothing better to do. Remember, it uses a liquid gasket and the bolts are different sizes.

You are using synthetic oil, correct?
