Hi Everyone,
I have a '98 S70 GLT that I just put a replacement engine into due to the PO running the old one out of oil. Anyway, the replacement engine has around 160 K miles on it. While the engine was out, I replaced the crankcase breather box and all of the associated hoses. All of the vacuum lines are new and the turbo was just rebuilt while I had the engine out of the car.
The problem now is that the car smokes out of the exhaust when driving. It does it the most when I pull to a stop after driving. There's also a lot of oil seeping out of the intercooler to turbo hoses and out from around the dipstick. The check engine light is also on with misfire codes PO300, PO302, and PO305. I just put in a set of Volvo plugs yesterday.
As far as I can tell I've hooked up everything correctly to the replacement engine. Any ideas as to what would cause this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Dave
