V850B525 hit it correctly. I had to remove my damper to see it too. Having seen it once, you might not need to remove it, but I'm not sure at this point. I had a harder time finding the mark on the crank gear! I only noted it because my setup was factory, and had aligned the cams to find it. That tells you what a novice I am!
