"in my my06 v70 the yellow button turns the corner lights on/off.
Opening/closing the doors with my remote blinks the turning signals and the small side blinkers in front fenders. I have no turn signals on mirrors."

Yes, exactly! My remote makes the turn signals blink and the small side lights on the front fenders when I lock it. Now NOTHING blinks and I am just trying to figure out what the culprit could be. Hope someone can give me some idea before I take the car to the dealer. That is a LAST RESORT for me.
