Hmm, sure enough, I have a hose with a yellow band on it coming from the turbo that has failed in exactly the same way, it has cracked right near the clamp. Did you replace the line and find that it resolved the issue? I'm tempted to tape it up and see if that makes the problem any better till I can get a proper replacement line.
