I had IPD reflash the ECU in my 96 850. Noticeable difference in boost, comes on sooner and harder, stays on until I lift my foot. I was hesitant to do it but it worked out great. There are other companies as well, but I'm not familiar with them. Try Volvospeed or Swedespeed, they are into performance and FWD cars.
