In most cars equipped with PDL it takes two turns to open all other doors - this is how it has always worked on my 96 850 and a single turn to lock all doors.

On the drivers side i have seen two implementations - on my camry a single turn of the key opens all doors but on the 850 it has always taken a second turn. Since i the second turn has degraded over time on the drivers side as opposed to the passenger side my guess is something is getting work out.

Anyone else observed this?
