Removing past wax from rubber trim

I just gave my XC90 a nice liquid wax job. A day later, all of the places where I got a little of the wax on the plastic/rubberized pieces (bumper, door trim, cladding, etc.) have ugly white patches on them. Any suggestion how to remove these would be appreciated.
