It sounds like you have a problem with the vacuum lines and need a general tune up. When were the plugs and wires last changed? Check fuel pressure too.
The O2 sensors won't cause the problems you are describing. They are located on either side of the catalytic converter. Locating them is the easy part, getting to the connectors and unplugging them is another story.
