Check engine light and more 1999 v70 base V70-XC70

Hi, everyone.

My V70 hit a pothole, which cut the passenger side front tire and damaged the rim.

Besides need to get the rim repaired and a new tire, I have got the check engine on now. I am not sure how to connect the hitting pothole with the check engine light. It's raining when the incident happened and an air pump was connected to the cigerate light outlet when the car was started (check engine light on since then). Hope people here can give me some hints. It seems the car is running well (I feel something different; but assume it is because it is running on a donut.).

There's something very interesting happened recently. there were about 3 times in the past month that the headlights were staying on for a minute or so (after the key's off the ignition). I know some newer cars have that kind of feature; but it only happened to my v70 recently and I could not repeat it. Any hidden feature that I don't know?

Can someone let me know the rims from which years are exchangeable with my 1999 V70?

Looking forward to your inputs.

Thank you very much.
