Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your help. 2 days and 4 wrecked tools later, we got all four bolts off... miracle.
I tried your way and got one bolt off. On the next wheel the bar broke, bought a new 40 inch bar, tried again and sheared the square off!
Then bought a reversing tool, got a second bolt off but now the reverser and bolt were well and truly welded together.
So today, went to friendly local mechanics to borrow huge bench vice to free the tool. Heated up every thing with blowtorch and after about an hour, got the last two bolts off (on one, the hardened key head sheared off)
Moral of the story.
PLENTY OF COPPER GREASE ON ALL BONDING SURFACES (especially ally to iron)
Over and out!
Andy
