Anyone use the IPD wagon rear cross brace? V70-XC70 1999

Has anyone tried the QBM cross brace that IPD sells for installation above the spare tire well? Here is their text:

"The QBM 93-00 850/V70 Wagon Rear Cross Brace mounts to the 3rd row seat belt mounts, which are reinforced and are the strongest point in the entire rear cargo area. The brace is constructed of heavy-walled tubing that's TIG-welded for strength, and is has a solid one-piece design with no moving joints to flex. The result is a brace that is very effective at improving the chassis rigidity, helping to deliver crisp handling and a more connected feeling with the rear suspension."

The V70 does have body flex, and this brace is cheap enough, but I have no idea if it works. Thanks!
