The P0600 = Serial Comm Link Malfunction
The other P1nnn codes are Volvo specific and need to be diagnosed with a Volvo scan tool to get the proper defintion. These are usually not related to Tranny, engine, or emmission devices, those get P0nnn codes.

An online translator for P0nnn codes can be found at : http://www.actron.com/code_lookup.php

So you have a communication link malfunction, in other words a bad electrical plug. Probably at the ECU.
