finally got around to replacing the alternator today........ 850 1996

World Pac was offering quite a deal to me on the alternator, so I figured since I didn't know how old the one sitting under the hood was, and because it was averaging 13.4-.5 volts, I went ahead and purchased it. This morning, my friend and I, went about installing the new ("rebuilt") Bosch alternator, as well as a new Conti drive belt. Now the volts are around 13.7-.8, but still lower than what I would've hoped. The battery is only a few months old, but who knows with Interstate what is going on. All of what I can think now is that perhaps the battery cables should be replaced. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)
