Side View Mirror Off Track

Like an idiot, I just hit the side view mirror on my 2004 V70 with my trash can, pushing the mirror forward and making it pop off the track. It doesn't look like anything broke (the power adjusters still work and I can't see anything that appears to be broken), but the mirror is just resting loosly on the mount. Is there any trick to popping the mirror back into its track? If not, any guess on what it will cost to fix this problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.
