Replacing the oil breather system will reduce pressure in the engine, helping to lessen oil consumption. When you let off the gas while going downhill, there is a lot of vacuum pressure in the intake manifold and changing the breather hoses will help.
I suggest you buy a torque wrench, so that after tire changes you can set the tightness of the lug nuts to 82 lbs. That will help eliminate shudder. Once the brakes start doing that, the rotors need to be cleaned and smoothed by machine to get rid of it.
Do check your coolant level, use a marker and make a mark at the cold temp level and check it weekly. We do not want the white smoke to be a headgasket leak, or a leak in the radiator.
