Your 2000 model has the electronic throttle module, which is bolted to the underside of the intake manifold about in the middle. Look for a large plastic tube coming from the intercooler to the manifold. This tube is conected to the throttle body. Cars wiith electronic throttle bodys do not have an idle air valve. The function of that component is incorporated into the throttle module. Has your car had the throttle body recall?
