Myself and a few others here have had some problems w/ the '95 trannys so I would avoid that year. But as with most cars it just all depends on how they're treated and maintained. Other '95 owners have gone a very long ways without any problems. As with any automatic car check the tranny fluid closely for any signs of burning and warm it up thoroughly when doing a test drive. Loosen the oil filler cap with the engine running to check for any PC system blockage. The cap should sit flat when loose. Any bounceing up and down indicates abnormally high internal engine pressure. Also as with any used car avoid one that ANY teenage boy has driven. You probably know from your own experience that it's been beatup. If the AC evaporator hasn't been replaced you can probably assume that it leaks. It's a $1200 dealer job.
