Bought S70 w/ low miles but some engine problems - worth keeping? S70 1998

I just bought a 1998 S70 with 90k miles for $4000. It's in great shape inside and out, but the engine has not been taken care of. Apparently the previous owner didn't do anything beyond regular oil changes.

The following things need fixing/replacing:
- Timing belt
- ABS Unit
- Front brake pads & rotors
- Upper engine mounts
- Outer axle boosts (both sides),
- Thermostat & sensor for cooling system
- fuel filters
- strut mounts
- Fan motor (for passenger cabin air)

The total quoted by the repair shop was $3500 for all the necessary repairs, which would put my total for the car at $7500.

Is this a good investment for a 98 S70 with 90k miles, or would I be better off flipping the car and taking a small loss? Like I said, otherwise the car is in excellent shape.

As an aside - I read on the board that the timing belt on the late 98 S70's has to be replaced around 105k miles, while my repair shop tells me that it was already due at 70k miles. Am I good for another 10k miles or so, or should I have the timing belt and serpentine belt replaced now?

Thanks in advance.
